Top 5 Things to see & do in Montmartre, Paris
A unique Gem in Paris with it's cobblestone streets, little Cafés and artists painting in the streets.
It is also here where you can sip a glass of wine from one of the last working vineyards within the city limits, Le Clos de Montmartre.

There are steep streets and a lot of stairs in Montmartre.
# 1: Sacré-Cœur Basilica
The Basilica stands on top of the hill in Montmartre, overlooking the entire city of Paris and its suburbs.
From the Terrass Hotel where we stayed, it is a 15-min walk
up to the Sacré-Coeur or just a 10-min walk to the
Funicular (a type of cable railway system).
The Basilica is open every day from 6:30a.m till 10.30p.m
and is free to enter.
For some stunning panoramic views of Paris, climb the dome!
Access to the dome is outside on the left and is open every day
from 10.am till 7p.m. Entry tickets cost €6.
There is no elevator to the top, and there are 300 steps
to climb!
# 2: Place du Tertre
One of the most famous squares in Paris.
Here you will find artists presenting their artwork or painting portraits.
The square can get very crowded and the restaurants in this area are more expensive than the ones in the side alleys, and the food isn't that good.
# 3:Moulin Rouge
Dive into a dazzling universe of the most famous Caberts of Paris.
A ticket to the show with champagne will cost you €120 per Person.

Rouge Bis right across the street from the Moulin Rouge.

The Bar à Bulles has a rooftop terrace right next to the Windmill of the Moulin Rouge.
# 4: Strolling along the Streets

In a small side Alley of Montmartre, a very good little Italien Restaurant. Try the Penne al Arrabbiata.

Le Mur des je t'aime, where the words "I love you" are written in 311 Languages.
It is open for viewing Monday through Friday from 8a.m and is free.
The best time to go is early in the morning.
