#1: Visit Christ Church Cathedral
Head on to the impressive Christ Church Cathedral, a medieval church located in the heart of Dublin, which was originally a Viking church.
The church is open for visitors from 10a.m to 6p.m Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, from 10a.m to 5:30p.m on Tuesday and Thursday and 12:30p.m to 3p.m, 4:30p.m to 6p.m on Sunday.

#2: Visit Dublin Castle
Dublin Castle was built on a Viking settlement and served as the headquarters of the British for centuries. After Ireland's independence, it has now become a government complex and a well visited tourist attraction.
It is open from 9:45a.m to 5:45p.m every day.
A self-guided tour will cost about €8.
It's just a 5 min walk from the Christ Church Cathedral.
#3: Visit Trinity College Library and
the Book of Kells
Walk along the cobbled stones of Trinity College in Dublin to the old library, where you will find the Book of Kells and the Long Room.
The Book of Kells is a gospel manuscript from the 9th century. Here you can admire the "Turning Darkness into Light" exhibition, where pages of the Book of Kells are displayed. At the end of the exhibition, you will find the original book opened.
Afterwords, head up the stairs to the impressive Long Room, which is almost 65 meters long. Here there are over 200,000 of the Library's oldest books.
Marble busts of the great writers and philosophers of the western world line the Long Room, and in the middle you fill find Ireland's oldest harp, made of oak and willow with 29 brass strings. The harp is the emblem of Ireland.

#4: Take a tour of the GuinnessStorehouse
Learn more about Ireland's most iconic beer. And don't forget to have a pint in their bar at the end.
It is open Monday to Friday from 10a.m till 5p.m, Saturday from 9:30a.m till 6p.m and on Sunday from 9:30a.m till 5p.m.
#5: Walk around the narrow streets and explore
It is easy to walk around Dublin city center, where most of the attractions are found. Visit one of the most recognizable pubs in Dublin, the Temple Bar, where live music is played. Whiskey lovers can head next door where rare bottles displayed.
Take a look at the Molly Malone Statue, famous for the song Sweet Molly Malone, which is said to be the "unofficial anthem of Dublin".
